The Portrait Workshop is designed for photographers wanting to learn how to create unique images.. Produce beautiful images with impact that portray character and mood.

Learn the techniques that will turn your image from a snapshot to a unique creative image.Lighting, equipment, hardware posing, technique, personal dynamics and more. We will discuss both posed and unposed portraits, capturing meaningful images.

Requirements:
You will need to be competent with using your SLR in manual mode or have completed a basic or beginners photography course. Your own SLR Film or Digital camera,compact cameras are not recommended
An SLR camera with full manual settings
All lenses you have
Memory cards for the digital
If shooting film, your favourite type or something you wish to experiment with
All camera accessories - i.e:, lens filters, lens hood, etc. if you have them
Fully charged camera batters
Your cameras manual(s) - for referencing those hard to find features
Bring along any of your shots you wish to discuss, or tearsheets that you wish to emulate
Dress casual & comfortable
